Pack Status: Not active; see Middle Fork Pack.

This was discovered as new resident wolf activity was documented in eastern Wallowa County in 2024. The Summit Ridge Pack produced two pups that survived to the end of the year and was counted as a breeding pair. A total of eight wolves were documented during the winter count. However, using monitoring data collected during 2025, staff discovered the “new” Summit Ridge pack counted during the 2024 annual count was actually the Middle Fork Pack visiting an area well outside their known pack territory. Because of this, the pack is no longer considered active.
