Pack Status: No longer active. Designated as a pack in 2021.

In January 2016, an adult male wolf was collared in this area and given the name OR37. Shortly after that, he crossed the Snake River into Idaho, but returned to Oregon in the following month. His collar failed, but he was seen in the area through 2017. He was not seen in 2018.
In April 2019, a collared male wolf dispersing from the Middle Fork Pack moved into the area with two other wolves, who were spotted in June 2019. However, the collared male left the area in December 2019. Two wolves were documented to remain in the area during the annual survey.
The Lookout Mountain Pack bred for the first time in 2020 and produced two pups that survived to the end of the year. They were counted as a breeding pair during the annual survey.
ODFW reported radio-collar data displaying a 216 square mile use area with 80% of data points located on private lands and 20% on public lands.
Eight wolves from the Lookout Mountain Pack were killed by ODFW in fall 2021. The remaining wolves for the pack included the breeding female and one juvenile; an adult male joined during the winter. This pack was not counted as a breeding pair.
Five wolves were documented in the Lookout Mountain Pack in 2022. The breeding male of the pack was found dead in July, and the breeding female was shot and killed in October. No breeding adult wolves were left in the pack, so the group did not count as a breeding pair.
No reproduction was documented by the Lookout Mountain Pack in 2023. The department killed another wolf in the pack, leaving only one wolf documented in the pack area during the winter count.
One collared wolf was monitored in the pack territory until fall 2024, when it dispersed. No wolves were documented during the winter survey; therefore, the AKWA is discontinued.
