Pack Status: No longer active.

The Wallupa Pack was designated in 2024, when new resident wolf activity was documented in northern Wallowa County. A total of five wolves, including at least two juveniles, were documented. Without an adult male the Wallupa Pack was not documented as a breeding pair in 2024.
In 2025, three Wallupa Pack wolves were killed, one “caught in the act” by a livestock producer and two legally killed by the Department. By the end of the year, there were no wolves counted in the pack’s territory.
