The Touchet Pack

WDFW Range Map

The Touchet Pack formed in 2016, when OR35, a female wolf from Oregon, dispersed into Washington and reared pups with a mate.

The breeding female (OR35) then dispersed from the Touchet Pack in 2018 and found another wolf to form the Butte Creek Pack in the Blue Mountains of southeast Washington.

A collared yearling male, 79m, likely her son, dispersed from the pack in 2018 and traveled through Oregon into Idaho.

The pack was considered to have a successful breeding pair during the 2020-2021 winter survey, where a minimum of 13 members of the pack was counted.
