The Skookum Pack was confirmed in 2015 in northeast Washington. At the end of 2016, the pack had 5 members.
As of the end of 2017, the pack no longer met the minimum criteria and was no longer considered an official pack.
During the 2020-2021 annual winter population survey, a minimum of four wolves and a successful breeding pair were counted. As such, the pack was re-designated in 2020.
