Pack Status: Active without pack status.
In June 2019, two wolves were confirmed to be using an area in Grant County and were again counted during the 2019 annual survey. An individual wolf was also spotted in the area.
The breeding male and female of the Northside Wolves bred for the first time in 2020. The pair produced only one pup that survived to the end of the year and was not counted as a breeding pair.
No wolves were documented in the area at the end of 2021, so the AKWA is discontinued.
In 2025, three wolves were documented travelling together in the Northside area, reinstating the AKWA.
