This pack was designated in 2024, when new resident wolf activity was documented in northern Wallowa County. The Kuhn Ridge Pack produced at least four pups that survived until the end of the year and was counted as a breeding pair. A total of 11 wolves were documented in the winter count.

In 2025, the Department legally killed five wolves in response to livestock predation. By the end of the year, a minimum of 11 wolves were documented in the pack, and at least four pups survived to the end of the year.
