Although this pack has an activity center in Oregon, it primarily resides in Washington and is counted as a Washington pack. The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife map is included for reference.

Washington state wildlife managers confirmed this pack in 2017.

At the end of 2018, it had a minimum count of eight wolves and was counted as a successful breeding pair.

In September 2019, the state wildlife department killed a member of the pack, presumed to be the breeding female, upon a determination that the pack had preyed on livestock. In the fall, WA90M dispersed from the Grouse Flats Pack and appears to have joined the Wenaha Pack in Oregon.

In 2020, there was not a confirmed breeding pair. In 2021, there were four confirmed wolves in the pack, with one dispersal from the pack by WA90M, who was collared in the Grouse Flats pack in May 2019.

In January, WA90M dispersed at least 890 miles before a scheduled collar drop-off in May 2021. His last known location was in South Central Oregon.

In 2022, there was a minimum of nine wolves in the pack, with one mortality from unknown causes. In 2023, there was a minimum of ten wolves in the pack. A yearling female and a yearling male were both collared in May 2023.

In 2024, there was a minimum of nine known wolves in the Grouse Flats Pack with a confirmed breeding pair. One wolf died in capture by WDFW in May, who had sedated two wolves in order to collar them. Another wolf, WA153F, dispersed from the pack to northeastern Oregon in October.

A wolf in this pack was captured and collared in January 2025.
