In 2021, OR114, a female from the Ruckel Ridge pack, established a resident use area west of Elgin. She was documented during the winter count with another wolf with a failed collar. In 2022, the pack was designated when OR114 and a male produced two pups that survived until the end of the year, counting them as a breeding pair.
However, one wolf died from poisoning in 2023, and the Finley Ridge Pack was not documented as a breeding pair with four wolves documented during the winter count.
In 2024, a total of five wolves were documented during the winter count and the pack was not documented as a breeding pair.
The breeding male of the pack died at almost ten years old of unknown causes in 2025. By the end of the year, four wolves were counted in the pack but they did not have any documented pups.
