Pack Status: Active. Designated in 2019.

A pair of wolves was confirmed to be using the northern portions of the Catherine Creek and Minam Units (Union and Wallowa Counties) in 2019. That year, they had pups, with at least two pups surviving to the end of the year, officially designating the family as a pack.
The pack had at least four pups that survived through the winter and was counted as a breeding pair for 2020. According to ODFW, radio-collar data displayed location data from a 218 square mile use area. The data points showed a use area of 50% public lands and 50% private lands.
In 2021, the Clark Creek Pack produced four pups that survived to the end of the year. A collared subadult female member of the pack died from poison in July near the pack’s rendezvous site. The breeding female was missing at the end of the year, so the pack was not counted as a breeding pair.
Three individuals were documented during the winter count in 2022, and they were not documented as a breeding pair for the year.
The pack rebounded in 2023, with two pups that survived until the end of the year and five wolves in the pack. They were counted as a successful breeding pair for the year.
The pack produced at least two pups that survived until the end of 2024 and was counted as a breeding pair for the year. A total of five wolves were documented in the 2024 winter count.
