Current Numbers: 2
Pack Status: Active. Designated in 2015.

The Beaver Creek Pack was discovered in Okanogan County and designated as a pack in 2015.
In 2018, the Beaver Creek Pack was confirmed as a breeding pair. In June, wolf biologists captured and collared one adult female and one yearling female wolf from the family. In 2019, one wolf in the pack was legally killed by a landowner under Washington’s “caught-in-the-act” rules.
The pack was confirmed to have six members and to have successfully raised pups in 2019. In 2020, two mortalities were documented: one human-related and one attributed to harvest.
In May of 2022, one wolf of the pack was legally killed by a member of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation. In July, a WDFW wolf biologist captured and collared an adult male wolf. Unfortunately, in August, another wolf, the breeding female, was killed by a landowner under the “caught-in-the-act” rule.
In 2023, the Beaver Creek pack reestablished in Okanogan County as a pair of wolves, which remained through 2024. In 2024, they were not considered a successful breeding pair.
