Pack Status: Active. Designated in Spring 2025.
The Ashpan Pack was confirmed in the spring of 2025 in eastern Shasta County. At the time, a minimum of two wolves were observed together. They previously were known as the “Eastern Shasta County AWA” before meeting the criteria of a pack. As of June 2025, WHA07M (a male wolf from the 2021 Whaleback Pack litter) and WHA04F (a female wolf from the same litter) have been confirmed to be using the pack area.
