WDFW Range Map

Near Lake Chelan, just south of Lookout pack and Sullivan Creek pack territories, the Navarre Pack was confirmed in 2020.

The 2020 annual survey confirmed a minimum of two wolves that were not a successful breeding pair. In 2021 and 2022, there were five wolves confirmed in the pack.

WA142M dispersed from the Huckleback pack territory into the Navarre territory at some point between 2018 and January 2023, when he was recaptured by WDFW biologists.

In 2023, there were three wolves confirmed in the pack by the end of the year. Three of the wolves from this family were illegally killed by humans. These deaths were under investigation until the statute of limitations expired in 2024.

WA136M was collared in the Navarre pack as a 2-year-old in May 2022. In the summer of 2023, he dispersed south to the former Teanaway pack area and then moved east to the former Naneum pack area, where he resided for a time before returning to the Teanaway territory in late 2024.

At the end of 2024, only two wolves were confirmed in the pack, and they were not considered a successful breeding pair.
